Free Cards Winner ~ Last Years Holiday Cards on Discount for Facebook and Blog Friends/Fans!

Virginia is the Free Cards Winner this week - those cards are going to travel a looonnnggg way :) Thanks Virginia!



I've got some packs of last years Holiday Cards floating around, and wanted to put them out there for a discounted rate - excited for the 2009s but still love the 2008s!




I have:
•4 boxes of Snowmen (each set has 10 cards/11 envelopes),
•6 boxes of the little girl, called Waiting Up,
•2 boxes featuring 5 Snowmen and 5 Waiting Up

The interior message for Waiting Up: "May the warmth, joy and wonder of the season be yours!"


The interior message for Snowman: "Celebrate the spirit & joy of the season!"



They were $15 last year (and the 2009 sets will be $15), but right now they are just $11 each box for my blog readers/facebook friends & fans - let me know if you are interested and I'll post them in the Online Etsy Shop just for YOU!!

Free Cards Winner - April Williams Photography - November and December Art Offerings!

It is with honor and pride that I announce that the Free Cards Friday winner this week (technically from last week) is April Williams, of April Williams Photograpy.

April and I have been friends since the tiny days of playing dolls - and that is a long time - we lost touch for awhile while we went off and set up our families and such, but are now thankfully re-connected.

She has become a talented and creative photographer and I am dying to introduce you to her work.

DECEMBER will begin a new Mini Collection - I'm working out the numbers, but they will be larger than the 8x8s and once the original sells, I will make 8x8 prints available of the pieces - I know this will be a thrill to many, since there is ONLY ONE original!

I'm very excited and already working on ideas - there are only 9 originals left in the 85 8x8s for $85 Collection! Can you believe it!?

Time to Blog - inspired by Allison Dubois

Laying in bed at 4am after cheering up a sad little boy awakened by a bad dream ~ I'm meditating on "restful sleep" but I get this instead:

The last several nights in my studio have included the audio book Secrets of the Monarch by Allison Dubois on my ipod. She is the medium behind the tv show Medium. Wow, this book - insights and inspiration separated only by periods.

I cherish the voice and the words (even though I know it is not the author's voice) and the stories ~ I feel a connection while she is telling her personal tales, some funny, some saddening. I feel as though she is talking to me directly. My interest in Allison Dubois grows and I am already wondering if her other two books are available in audio format...

This cements for me that it is time for my blog. I knew it would come at the right time. With this blog I can engage - I can write - I can focus, draw followers and spread my message as well as my work. I must make this a priority - and I vow to take the next step toward my blog the following day (today).
